We mail all orders within 48 hours of receipt (except weekends) using a 24 hour tracked service with DPD. Therefore you can expect your model within three working days.

All non-UK orders are sent via Whistl who aim to deliver within 7-10 days.

Please note that in some countries you may be liable for an import duty charge.

Yes, you can order it from the USA, Canada, Australia and The European Union. If you are in Europe please checkout via the UK site and you will be charged the Euro equivalent price. Please note that there may be local import taxes charged at the point of delivery. If you are in the USA, please proceed to your local site using the flag shown at the top of the page.

The model costs £399. If you are not in the UK, your bank will convert to your local currency amount using their standard exchange rate.

Don’t worry, we will help. We have instructional videos available online, we can assist you over the phone and we will arrange a video call if required.

You should be able to build the model in around 14 hours but don’t worry if it takes you a little longer – it is not a competition!

The gear system is solid brass and the planets are fashioned form silver-plate, hand painted to capture the nature and defining characteristics of each planet.

The solar system model is adapted from an original 1980s design by British engineer, inventor and metal worker Louis Calmels. This version was first created in 2008.

The model includes three dwarf planets; Ceres, Pluto and Eris

The model is manufactured in the UK with a UK power source. We will supply an adapter to any European or Australian customers.
